Annika Sorenstam plays professional golf in Sweden. She is among the top women golfers. Before retiring from professional golf at the age of 28, she had won more than 90 events internationally while an amateur. She was the woman golfer with most victories. Annika was the first woman outside of America to take home the Vare trophy. Annika was also ranked as top of the Money list. Annika decided not to play in the 2008 season. The first pitch was thrown by her later that night. The winner was his previous tour with his final event, the Suzhou Taihu woman's open.
