Allison Beth Raskin from the American is a stand-up comedian, YouTuber and mental-health advocate. She was previously writer for BuzzFeed Video but left in 2015 together with the writer she partnered with and her friend Gabe Dunn to pursue work for their comedy YouTube channel Just Between Us. Raskin was born June 20, 1989 at Manhattan, New York, to a Jewish parentage. She attended the University of Southern California, where she received a bachelor's degree in fine arts.
